#5 – There’s an Art to Procrastination

December 31st is staring you in the face.

As I mentioned in my #4 BLOG I was going to write these 2x a month. As I am typing this it is 10:15 pm the LAST day of February. Well I don’t want to admit I am a procrastinator, but DARN perhaps I should have thought twice before I committed to all of you that I was going to do this 2x a month. :-).

So here it is, I do have a tendency to “Procrastinate” on certain things. One definition of procrastination “is the avoidance of doing a task that needs to be accomplished”, that brings up another bad trait, I oftentimes underestimate often how long it takes me to accomplish tasks, drive somewhere, finish a project, I don’t leave breathing room in between. Do you leave enough breathing room in between your “To Do List” tasks? Feel like you are always playing catch up? Perhaps we should put BREATHE on that “To Do List” then we won’t be so frantic! I will offer that for you this month as we close out February”

On the Upside, as there is always an upside- when I do procrastinate, I do some amazing things. On a recent bout of procrastination I ended up cleaning 3 closets and my desk, SO just saying, we have to forgive ourselves for being human.

Do you procrastinate? What do you do when you procrastinate? Would love to hear it- I Love anything glittery, so of course this picture spoke to me

Recommended Book- I remember reading this over 5 years ago and was so impressed with it’s basic premise of doing the hardest thing firsteating that frog. I have now resurrected it again to review those practices and make them a habit!
